Alan B. Burgess

Alan "Al" Bruce Burgess, a Dracut resident, died at the Lowell General Hospital surrounded by his loving family on December 25th, 2024. 

Born in Lowell Massachusetts on November 7 , 1960, he was a son of the late Charles and Estelle "Stella" Burgess.

He grew up in Dracut and along with his three brothers Al was educated at St. Michael School in Lowell and graduated with the the Dracut High School Class of 1978.

Al was a remarkable craftsman and will be remembered as a fun loving, caring individual.

 He leaves behind his daughter Greta of Wells Maine, son Evan of Methuen Massachusetts. His brother Michael "Rye" and Roselyn "Roz" of Dracut, brother Eric of Lowell, sister-in-law Josalyn of Lowell, "sister" Judith "AJ" Moran and brother Tristam Lawrence and his wife Gail of California; his former wife Marsha; his beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends. He is predeceased by his son Alan.

 Al's Life Celebration will be held at the McKenna-Ouellette Funeral Home, 327 Hildreth Street on Saturday, January 4, 2025 from 2 until 4 PM. In lieu of flowers donations in Alan's name may be made to The Cancer Center at Lowell General Hospital, 295 Varnum Ave., Lowell, MA 01850
