Adeline Frances Howard

North Chelmsford - Adeline Frances (McDowell) Howard, 86, wife of the late Kenneth C. Howard, died Thursday November 16, at her North Chelmsford residence.
She was born in Lowell on May 8, 1920, a daughter of the late Thomas and Margaret (McGuirk) McDowell.
Prior to her retirement Mrs. Howard was employed as a final inspector for the former Hathaway Shirt Company in Lowell. She was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church in North Chelmsford.
Survivors include a brother in law and two sisters in law, Donald and Zeria Howard of Longmeadow, Pauline Howard of No. Attleboro; several nephews and nieces including Thomas McDowell of Lowell, Gregory and Patricia McDowell of Dracut, John and Dorothy Butkus of Abington; six grand nieces and grand nephews, Justin McDowell of Lowell, Jennifer Chafe of Hudson, NH, Taryn Lacourse of Dracut, Scott McDowell, Courtney McDowell, and Chad McDowell all of Lowell; five great nieces and nephews, Keith and Kenneth Chafe, Soleina and Shaelyn McDowell, Emma Hoban; and a god child Kathleen Babcock of Abington. She was also the sister of the late Margaret Donnelly and Raymond T. McDowell.
