Adele J. Donovan

Tyngsboro- Adele J. (Szmytd) Donovan, 77, a resident of Tyngsboro, wife of William H. Donovan, died Sunday October 1, 2006 at the Lowell General Hospital.
Born on June 19, 1929, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Julia (Krajewska) Szmytd.
Mrs. Donovan was a graduate of Lowell High School class of 1947.
A longtime resident of the Centralville section of Lowell, she was a communicant of St. Michael Church.
Mrs. Donovan was employed for 12 years by Courier Citizen of Lowell. She retired in 1993 from the Raytheon Corp. of South Lowell after 17 years of service. She was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 1505. She loved working on Americana jigsaw puzzles.
Surviving her besides her husband, are a son and daughter-in-law, Joseph W. and Christine A. (Hancock) Donovan of Tyngsboro; several nieces and nephews among whom are Joyce Ham of North Chelmsford and David Dirrubbo of Stoughton, MA; several grandnieces and grandnephews. She also leaves a dear friend Queena Boyajian of Lowell. She was the sister of the late Helen Pacheco, Nellie Dirrubbo and Mary Krygowski.
