Adam R. Shockley passed away unexpectedly at his Dracut residence on Tuesday, February 14, 2024. He was 32.
Born in Cambridge on April 22, 1991 he was a son of Keyth and Jacqueline (Grimard) Shockley of Dracut who survives him.
Adam was employed as a stone cutter at the Stoneyard Granite Company. He loved to play video games, enjoyed attending concerts and listening to all music, especially the Beastie Boys. He also liked to cook.
Adam looked forward to fishing with his father. He was also happy and found the best in everyone. Adam was happy around his family, especially at the holidays when everyone got together.
Surviving Adam besides his parents are his brother Andrew Shockley and his partner Erica Morency of Lowell; a sister Celina Bergeron of Dracut; his paternal grandmother Deanna Shockley of Lowell; a niece Gianna Shockley; his aunts and uncles, Karyn Avila of Pepperell, Randall Shockley of North Chelmsford, Greig and Lisa Shockley of Nashua, NH; his dear friends Jimmy Mercier and Mason Cornila both of Dracut; and several cousins. He was the grandson of the late Robert Shockley, Robert and Doris Grimard and nephew of the late Ezequiel Avila, Michael Barsamian, and Dennis Shockley.
Relatives and friends are invited to Adam's Life Celebration in the McKenna-Ouellette Funeral Home from 4 until 6 PM on Tuesday. A prayer service will be held at 5:30 PM. Burial will be private.
